Encontro No Rio is nestled along the picturesque River Mondego, offering an idyllic and serene environment that was exactly what we needed after a hectic week. The tranquility of the location is truly breathtaking, making it perfect for relaxing by the pool. Breakfast was delicious and conveniently served at a time to suit us. Unfortunately, we could only stay for two days, but there were plenty of activities available, including kayaking, horseback riding, and hiking. A heartfelt thank you to the Hasshaimer family for your exceptional hospitality. We can't wait to return for a longer stay and wish you every success, you most definitely deserve it.

Boasting pool views, A CASA FRANCESA features accommodation with an open-air bath, around 50 km from Parque Natural Serra da Estrela. A lovely place to stay, off the beaten track but wonderful views. The hosts were exceptional. Our son and family were a short walk away. The property is very comfortable. Although on two levels it is open plan but everything you might need is provided.

Casa do Rio Alva is a recently renovated holiday home in Arganil, where guests can make the most of its private beach area and free bikes. The gorgeous location on the river is simply divine! You can hear the river running and watch the sunset over the trees. We didn’t get on the water as it was cool weather but we were able to sit outside and listen to while watching the birds, an otter came to visit during breakfast which was so adorable, and we took long walks on the national hiking trail the house is situated on as well.

Set in Cernache do Bonjardim, Canto do Zêzere, Sertã, Dornes, Castelo do Bode offers accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden. We absolutely loved this place. Beautiful house. Great kitchen. Comfortable beds and big bathrooms. Very up to date bathrooms and on every floor. The yard is beautiful. Right on the water. Fruit trees and ample parking. Hosts are very kind and very nice. The BBQ is wood fired. They supply wood, and you can also pick driftwood from the beach. Quiet setting. We just love this place and we will definitely be back.

Lovely stone house in a quiet village. The house is really comfortable, with lovely bedrooms, comfortable beds, nice kitchen and a large outdoor entertaining area overlooking the hills. The little river at the bottom of the road was perfect for morning and evening swims truly idyllic.

Amazing place to stay and relax in a beautiful village! Apartment is equipped with everything you need, beautiful terrace with BBQ zone. Private terrace with lemon tree and flowers, you will enjoy. Very peaceful village with river, river just 10 meters out of the apartment. Great location- close to supermarket and to the river. Owners are very helpful - thank you and good luck!!! Located in Mouronho, just 40 km from Palace of Bussaco, Quinta do Rio Alva and Glamping Lodges provides beachfront accommodation with water sports facilities, pool with a view, a garden and free WiFi.... The location is really good, near to a small towns that has everything we needed, from supermarkets to restaurants. Also, there's a nice restaurant right in front of the house. Also, the access to the house is good. No problem getting there by car. I couldn't recommend it more
