Located in Álftanes, a 15-minute drive from central Reykjavík, Eyvindarholt Guesthouse features bright and modern accommodation with free WiFi, scenic views, as well as Icelandic art and design. The location was perfect, about 15 mins from Reykjavík but other shops were much closer. The apartment was absolutely stunning and had a wonderful view. Very quiet and all the amenities you need such as a kitchenette with all utensils, washing machine, smart tv for Netflix etc. loved it!

Offering a garden and lake view, Cosy lakeview cabin 45 minutes from Reykjavik is located in Mosfellsbær, 36 km from Thingvellir National Park and 48 km from The Pearl. The quiet location on the lakefront was so peaceful, but still close to Reykjavík, shopping/food options, and activities! We loved having a coffee at the kitchen table and watching the birds and water right outside each morning. The cabin was well equipped for a comfortable stay including kitchen supplies. We also enjoyed the barrel sauna with the equally magnificent view!

Ocean View Suite near Sky Lagoon is a beachfront property located in Reykjavík, 4.4 km from The Pearl and 5.8 km from Hallgrímskirkja Church. We loved staying here, everything clean and comfy. We will come back for sure!

Offering unique guest rooms in refurbished busses, Esjan offers accommodation in Kjalarnes, 21 km from Reykjavík. Free private parking is available on site. We were able to see the auroras and the bus was very clean . The owner was great .

We had a wonderful stay at Ragna’s Apartment in Reykjavík! The space was quaint, warm, and surprisingly spacious—so much more comfortable than we expected. The location was ideal for exploring the city, especially during the Independence Day festivities. We loved being able to walk to so many beautiful sites, cafés, and public art spots with ease. A huge thank you to Kristi, our kind and incredibly responsive host. She made check-in seamless—letting us arrive early, which made all the difference after a long journey. One unexpected joy: no TV! It helped us fully unplug, slow down, and enjoy the rhythm of Reykjavík life. We also appreciated the helpful signage about the sulfur-scented hot water (no problem at all!), and we were so grateful for the well-stocked kitchen—cooking at home was a great way to balance the cost of eating out. If Kristi and Ragna’s Apartment will have us again, we’d return in a heartbeat. Takk fyrir for a memorable stay!
