The apartment is spacious and has anything you could want for. The public transportation just outside across the street on the corner to get into town. Our stay was wonderful. Our host, Anne, was kind and always willing to help, even when we asked her to raise the heating one evening! The place is in a great location, near a bus stop, a supermarket, and the sea, which was our main highlight. We loved staying close (a short bus ride) to the city centre but away from it; we visited during the holiday season, and everywhere in the city centre was crowded. The apartment is beautifully decorated and well-equipped. Anne thought of everything: besides the essentials, there were games, maps, some welcome chocolates, and a lovely small Christmas tree to cheer us up during our visit. We will certainly stay in Anne's place again on our next trip to Edinburgh.

Beautifully Renovated Self-Contained Farm Cottage - close to beaches, North Berwick and the Golf Coast is located in North Berwick, 6.4 km from Muirfield, 29 km from Arthurs Seat, as well as 30 km... Loved the unit. Nice and clean and quiet. It had everything you needed including a few coffees, snack and cleaning supplies. Loved the fireplace. So sweet and nice touch. Convenient to the train too. Just a stones throw away. Great resources for surrounding area too. Owners were top notch!

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Straven Guesthouse provides accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi. Amazing location, with view on the sea. Chris and Sinead are very welcoming and prepared for us a delicious breakfast.

The apartment was clean and well managed. The location is right off the Portobello beach which is a great place for a stroll, cup of coffee, bite to eat, etc. Easy bus ride into Edinburgh Old Town. Would highly recommend if you want a place to stay that is a more peaceful and less crowded than central Edinburgh.

They are fun, funny and smart. They made incredible breakfast: LOVE the go juice they provide!! Loved the breakfast conversation. The location is right by public transit, and Portobello Beach isn't far--we walked there and back-such a cool spot, the bedroom was WONDERFUL-it was clean, quiet, beautiful. Our hosts answered questions-always gave the best advice. I would RECOMMEND staying there for anyone. I would stay again. They were a blessing in disguise. Thanks again, you guys rock! Can't wait to see the addition that you are putting on!

Offering sea views, Anchorage B&B is an accommodation located in Cockenzie, 1.3 km from Seton Sands Longniddry Beach and 14 km from Muirfield. Great location for the beach. The room was beautiful and so very comfortable and Gina is a beautiful host. I loved my time there.
