Where to begin… if I could put 10 stars out of 5 I would. We had one of the best stays of our life at Casa Frangipani. The room was very comfortable and clean. It is very well equipped and very nicely decorated. The balcony is very pleasant. And then there is Kerstin, an incredibly amazing woman who does her best to welcome her guests in the best way. She is very attentive and makes her best to make you feel at home and to have the best stay on her island. And she’s also funny and very easy to talk to. She has very good advices, you can listen to her. We were always pleased with her recommandations. If you go to Mauritius, you have to go stay at Casa Frangipani in Trou d’Eau Douce. Thanks again for everything and stay as you are :)

Everything. The location is quiet, there’s a place to safely park the rental car. We had a huge apartment with two amazing terraces. The little things - nice smell of the sheets, enough outlets on convenient places, anti-mosquito devices, fan and enough shade in the apartment, lots of storage space. The hostess is more than kind, she made sure we have everything we need and gave us a lot of suggestions.

Villa Bella is located in a very calm neigbourhood, and has all the accomodations one needs. Every amenity in the kitchen, fruit as a welcome gift, a washing machine with powder ready, a TV, etc.. The house is extremely clean, and all the rooms very spacious. The beds were made with clean sheets, no bugs anywhere, everything was perfect. We were very lucky to be the only hosts there, and had the entire property and swimming pool to ourselves. The people (Marco, Angelique the owner, even the neighbours) were all extraodinary in helping us adjust to Mauritius and the life there. We could always count on somebody to help us out, whether it was Angelique via the chat on booking, or Marco who lives not far at all from the property. The beach is only 5min away by car, and is gorgeous. It's the perfect place for people who like a calm environment but not far from shops, beaches etc. You need a car but that is to be expected in Mauritius. PS: the wifi is extremely good at the Villa, better than in a lot of hotels where I stayed.

Charming hosts. Marie-Claire and Gaetan were always ready to help. The bedding was simply super quality. As we were staying for a full month they gave us bigger accommodation.

Rooms and beds with aircon were very comfortable We felt safe and the living area had great views and good air circulation when windows were open. The pool on site was an added bonus. Breakfast was good , but a bit expensive .

The hosts (Mike and his daughter Julie) were absolutely lovely, the accommodation (+ balcony) was very spacious and located at a very central location in town. Close to the beach, restaurants and harbour. Trou d'eau douce is the cutest town and Studio Manguillier the best accommodation to explore it from. I highly recommend staying here!

It was clean, everything at disposal and very welcoming. The room was well arranged and the terrasses were very nice, with a beautiful view. The staff was lovely and helpful. We were very pleased to stay at this property. We met a lot of great people, travellers and workers.

The location. The beach just in front and Palmar Beach within walking distance. Boats to Il Aux Cerfs just literally around the corner. Quite good choices of supermarkets, restaurants and takeaway shops. The owners were especially nice. Very pleasant and professional. I was allowed to remain until after checkout time as my return flight was in the evening. Good privacy. Good facilities. Can cook, has a microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery and an iron and ironing board. Clothes line to hang out your washed clothes. Lovely dining area.
