The 5-star Asterion Suites & Spa - Designed for Adults is perfectly set on the sandy beach of Platanias, in Chania. It is located just 1 km from Maleme, 3 km from Platanias and 15 km from Chania. The hotel and rooms are absolutely beautiful, the staff were helpful and incredibly friendly. We had an amazing time. Everything from check in to check out was perfect and I could not fault Asterion at all! The pool area in particular and the ability to order drinks to sunbeds was just amazing, the food was always delicious from both restaurants and the service was impeccable throughout. The stay exceeded all our expectations! We definitely cannot wait to come back, you would be hard pressed to find a better all inclusive hotel. Thank you!

I had the great pleasure of spending a few days at this hotel and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic stay. The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean, the front desk staff were courteous and helpful, and the pool bar team stood out for their friendliness and professionalism. The food was delicious – fresh, varied, and beautifully presented. A special mention goes to Nikos P. from the hotel bar. He is a person full of passion, incredible energy, and genuine charm. His cocktails were outstanding. But it wasn’t just the drinks that made the evenings special – it was the warm, welcoming atmosphere that Nicos created and conversations with him were truly a pleasure. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for relaxation, excellent service, and memorable experiences – and if you have the chance to meet Nikos, evenings at the bar are sure to be unforgettable.

The room was comfortable and the breakfasts and lunch buffets were wonderful. The property was very clean and had a lovely feel to it. The pool was excellent. It was a good location for us attending a wedding down the road.
