It was very bad.
It was very bad. I booked at Purple Heart Guest House but on arrival i was redirected to a dilapidated property that was overbooked . The rooms were untidy, the toilet was not flushing , the showers were dirty and smelly. I regret using booking.com . I stayed for only one night instead of two, i want a refund

The place is perfect and neat except that when you check out you have to vacate the premises and i hope they can at least allow people to leave the chalet or rooms but still enjoy the pool and chill zone till closing time

Place was fairly okay.
Place was fairly okay. I was promised WiFi but I could not connect because signal strength was just too bad. They could also improve on the huge space underneath the door. The towels were all dirty. But otherwise the bed was comfortable enough.

Secunda is a big city .
Secunda is a big city . A lot of malls and a nice waterfront with nice shops that they are putting into place . The restaurants are great . we eat at a few and the food was very good We visited the brewery at the Waterfront and the beer they brew is of a very high standard as well as their gin. The Trichard dam is nearby for fishing Please watch out on the main road . There are people driving very bad and is a big risk for accidents to happen

We have family in Secunda, and that is the reason we visit...
We have family in Secunda, and that is the reason we visit Secunda from Johannesburg, and we have been doing so for over 30 years. Over these years we have seen Secunda develop from just a remote town that housed the major Sasol plants to this beautiful town with beautiful malls and restaurant's. Although, after 30 years of democracy, we still experience racism from the Caucasian residents, which is very, very disappointing, because Secunda is developing into a beautiful metropolis, but it will just become a white elephant, a "ghost" town, if the racism continues in Secunda
