Every single person at Umlani was warm and welcoming! We felt well cared for the entire time we were there!! The game drivers and trackers are so knowledgeable and engaging; and we were taken out on very small group game drives even though the lodge was not completely booked up and the vehicles could have held more people. The food was first class—every meal!! The grounds are beautiful! We could see elephants right from the lunch area! The highlight of our time was definitely the treehouse where we able to spend not only an overnight but also an afternoon so we could see all the animals during the day!! I wish we could’ve stayed longer and hope to return one day!!!

Situato nella Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, l'Africa on Foot offre chalet in stile rustico con tetti in paglia, un bar e una terrazza panoramica con piscina per bambini e lettini. Absolutely everything about Africa on Foot is amazing. Staff are attentive, kind and incredibly knowledgeable. They truly make the the place what it is. Outstanding hospitality (best we have had). Facilities are clean and tastefully decorated. Food.. Just Wowwww! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were always a treat. The pools were beautifully located and clean. The rooms were spacious. The morning walks were such a treat. The guides are first class and work hard to show you as much as possible, whilst also giving you interesting information about then bush and its animals. The arvo/night drives were out of this world. We saw soooo much. Lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, hippos, giraffes, hyenas, antelopes, birds!! And much much more. This place is a must. Don't hesitate to book. We wish we had stayed longer than 2 nights.
