Located in Haines in the Alaska region, Suite 1 Lynn View Lodge has a balcony and mountain views. This holiday home features a shared lounge. The room was comfortable and homey. The lodge (kitchen and living room) felt as if you were staying in a friend's home. While we didn't utilize them, there were barbecues and picnic tables out front, and fire pits on the beach (right across the street). DirecTV available, plus an assortment of movies available to watch. Cute little red squirrels, hummingbirds just on the other side of the glass windows, and eagles as well as other wildlife in the trees and waterways. The perfect location - between the lake and downtown. The cherry on top, though, was Katy, the caretaker! A bundle of exuberant energy; a new lifelong friend!
