The host family was very kind and welcomed us with warm tea. The accommodation is surrounded by nature, with a beautiful garden and adorable children. Everyone was extremely friendly and full of hospitality. Although I couldn’t finish the breakfast due to my gluten allergy, the grandmother kindly made pancakes for us, and I was grateful for the thoughtfulness. Despite the challenges, they helped us arrange an early morning jeep tour to see elephants and assisted with entry to Sigiriya Rock, even on short notice.

The room was spacious and clean an we had all we needed. Mahesh, the owner, and his family were so helpful and welcoming during our stay. I can only recommend his place enough if you are looking for an affordable, calm and memorable place to stay near Sigirya. Not only did he make an amazing typical Sri Lankan breakfast for us, which was included, he even gave us very helpful advice on what to do in the area. We will be back here next time!

Amazing little home stay tucked away in the trees, facilities are more than adequate and our stay was made exceptional by our amazing host Manju. He went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed, giving advice, ensuring our safety, arranging transport and supplying us with the best Sri Lanka food thus far. 10/10 couldn’t recommend more.

Will help you with anything you need. Room was very good value for money. We went to a lake one afternoon which they took us to on their motorbikes.

Everything was perfectly taken care of by the hosts and mainly by their children! They basically planned all the activities of my stay and I just had to follow the instructions 🥰 huge tasty breakfast, amazing clean and cozy rooms and beautiful pool to cool down after the hikes! Perfect stay!
