Loved this Manor type country house. Really quite an amazing surprise. I only booked as a sleep over on the way to Shannon. What a surprise to see it was a very professionally managed establishment. There was a bar and restaurant albeit we were not hungry. The room had a four poster bed. It was so traditional but not contrived like the touristy castles. We slept so well in a fab comfortable bed. The room was very big. Table and chairs, walk in wardrobe/ dressing room. It is a fine country house from a bygone Anglo Irish day. It was Christmas week and there was a display of country Christmas hampers for sale with local produce in the lobby. Very reasonably priced compared to the rubbish in the big shops in Dublin. No pressure to sell either. I would certainly stay again and hopefully have time for breakfast next time. We loved it. Thanks to all the staff.

Treacys Oakwood Hotel, Shannon is located in the heart of Shannon’s town centre, next to the Skycourt shopping centre and only 5.1 km drive from the Shannon Airport. It was very spacious yet cozy and quaint. Brian and Ona were very pleasant and had genuine smiles.

Host was approachable and very helpful.

A gorgeous location, so quiet and peaceful with lovely views of the castle and out over the water. The hosts were so kind and friendly, it really felt like home from home. We stayed for 3 weeks while waiting for our new house to be ready and the property provided everything we could possibly have needed.

I Shannon, bare 13 kilometer fra Dromoland Golf Course, 14 kilometer fra Dromoland Castle og 19 kilometer fra Thomond Park, ligger Cosy Room. Very nice apartment, everything was clean and tidy, clean bed and fresh towels. When I asked for a late checkout, the owner agreed without any questions. I highly recommend this accommodation in Shennon, for this money in Ireland it is very difficult to find good accommodation. Thanks to the owner for the hospitality.

The host was welcoming and friendly, gave us lots of information about where to go and what to see, very lovely couple very accommodating, nice fresh clean B&B, we only stayed for one night, wish we had time to stay another. Highly recommend. Had a lovely breakfast. Very close to the airport and bus stop, a local pub and ATM.

Staff were so very helpful and professional in their interactions. Besides the hotel, the building contains a lovely restaurant (fish and chips cooked to perfection) and a charming pub - Shannon Springs Hotel is a great place to recharge before or after a long flight in or out of Shannon Airport. There are bus stops immediately outside the building and you can be whisked there within minutes.
