It was a beautiful house surrounded by lush gardens. The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay special. They even took 2 trips to drive our group to the airport in the morning!

Check in was quick and efficient. The staff were professional and friendly. The room was small but perfect for what I needed. A comfortable bed, a nice hot shower. And next to the airport which is what I really needed. My Spanish is not that great but the staff knew enough English that made it more easy.

The lady that ran the place went out of her way for me! She came and asked if there was anything I needed before she left, like some food or anything. She also bid me a fond farewell! Hotel Garcas is located in the small town of Lavacolla, 10 km from the centre of Santiago de Compostela. It offers a traditional Galician restaurant with a covered terrace. A good hotel with a good restaurant and friendly staff. The only hotel within walking distance of the airport (about a mile from the hotel to terminal). Of course taxis or buses are available also. I did walk, there is a path the last 1/2 mile that takes you to the baggage level. Up one level and you are at ticketing/departures. A nice airport BTW.

The lady who welcomed us was very, very helpful. We were doing the Way of Saint James' (Camino de Santiago) northern route and we were pleasnly surprised by the Pensión. She provide us with all the info necessary for getting somenting to eat (either bar/restaurant or the local shop). The little garden in the back is very pleasant and you can eat al fresco.

Situated in Lavacolla, 11 km from Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, A Concha has a terrace, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. The room was well proportioned, clean, with extra Blankets if needed. It's on the Camino rote so easy to find. The staff are excellent and helpful....and uts anazing the price includes a generous and decent breakfast. There was no noise from the airport. I was super pleaeed with this accomodation and highly reccomebd it.
