We used the hotel's shuttle service to and from the airport, which was very convenient. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. Guests were offered mulled wine and cake, which was a nice touch. The location was great – we reached Cologne city center in just 35 minutes. The room was warm and cozy, and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

Conveniently located for accessing Cologne-Bonn Airport and the exhibition grounds, this hotel offers inviting, modern guest rooms beside the beautiful Porzer Stadtwald conservation area. Room was nice. The hotel itself is very cozy. The breakfast room and the one connected with it were very interesting, with nice furniture and decoration. The restaurant was closed, but, probably, it is open during the main season, like summer. But the room where restaurant is supposed to be is very interesting. The owners have very good taste, and it is simply beautiful inside. Breakfast was very good. Inside of the hotel is very quite. It is easy to reach the hotel from the autobahn.

Akazienhof Hotel & Brauhaus offers free parking, affordable and convenient accommodation in the Porz district, close to Cologne/Bonn Airport. The staff were friendly and happy to help. My girlfriend left her sunglasses and the staff were more than happy to help and post the sunglasses back to her. Even with no German, I had no issues at all with communication. Although we didn't eat at the restaurant, the food smelt amazing on arrival and there were quite a few people there looking like they were enjoying their food. There is petrol station next door which was convenient for getting snacks/drinks.
