What an amazing and peaceful place! I participated in the Rwenzori Marathon on Saturday and Ruboni was the perfect spot to stay afterwards to rest and recharge. The location is incredible with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and forests. Very peaceful and quiet. It is only a short distance to the national park entrance too. I was also really blown away by the food, having some of the best meals of my 10 days of travel in Uganda. But the highlight for me was the staff who went above and beyond to make me feel at home. A special thanks to Wilbron and Finny for their warm hospitality!

Great location not far from the park but near to the village. Felix and his wife were charming hosts and meal times were a treat. Great food and conversation. Felix is the man to talk to and organise treks in the Rwenzori's and around the village.
