Set in Caye Caulker, 700 metres from Caye Caulker Beach, Costa Nube offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. I really enjoyed my trip at Costa Nube! The owners are extremely nice and so helpful! I came on this trip by myself and I had did the research on the island and decided that I love the reviews that I saw from this place and they did not disappoint! The place is on the other side of the island and it does seem a little scary especially if you come when I did which was at night and in the rain but I promise you it's not dangerous. You just have to remember you are on island that does embrace staying natural and just because there's not concrete roads does it mean you're in big danger. I felt very safe and was able to enjoy the peacefulness of that side of the island. The owners do let you know that they are willing to help you figure things out on how to get around and even offer you transportation whether it's them taking you themselves or setting up a cab driver who I particularly enjoyed! Everyone was very helpful with any information I needed, I always felt safe and at home with them. Property itself was so beautiful and relaxing. I will be visiting the island more and I will definitely be staying here at Costa Nube every time!

The island is like no other place we have ever been. The people are so friendly and helpful. We loved Salty's restaurant for great food and amazing entertainment. Can't wait to return as we do every year.
Caye Caulker has a small town vibe. The food was fabulous and locals were kind and helpful. No cars, bikes were included with our cottage and we used them every day. Very easy to get around. Loved it.
We just sampled Caye Caulker for the last day/night of our Belize vacation since we had seen it several times briefly from the water taxi pier. Wish we had allowed more time there, we really liked it a lot and want to explore more...and try more restaurants. The food was great.
A cool place to visit. The Iguana Reef Inn stingrays were a highlight - being able to stroke them was awesome. Most people on the island were friendly. I felt safe but very oggled at as a young woman (constantly felt the need to cover up). I had an incident of harassment by one of the ferry workers showing me expicit porn of a girl who looked like me and asking if I liked it - very gross. The island constantly smells of burning diesel due to the golf buggies and diesel generators. This was my least favourite part and made me want to leave. There are drug dealers on the streets at night who are quite persistent. A lot of drunk tourists all hours of the day. Some decent restaurants - not the best or cheapest food ever. The magic cup has some great cheap bites (terrible coffee though and i'm really not a coffe snob - but i got half a cup of watery coffee with milk foam when I asked for a cappuccino), Reina's has some decent food too. Snorkelling tours are nice - especially the nature reserve (2nd largest barrier reef in the world!). Shark and Ray alley is completely fake due to the boats feeding the animals - I personally would avoid if going again as it felt like we were thrown into a feeding frenzy (even though it was very safe nurse sharks, I felt like i couldn't avoid accidently bumping into them and the stingrays). If I had more money to visit the blue hole I would've - others who went scuba diving there said it was amazing.
if you are diver is the perfect place to visit, that was my goal, I dove with Scuba sensations ,excellent ,massages half a block from sea dreams, Ix Chel DAY spa, clean professional, good price. Maggie's sunset KITCKEN one block from sea dreams local place the food was delicious , i ,had fish ,good prices. I want to try conch the staff recommend Paradiso cafe ,real good. I went to the other side of town to a restaurant may be call Erika it was pack I asked for octopus very disappointed it, totally chewy and expensive, they tried to cook it more not luck.
Nice little island near Belize City, with many hotels and resorts, many good restaurants serving fresh seafood, especially Conch.and fish... I took a tour for US$50, snorkeling and swimming with the sharks!!! My new resort has a pool and a private beach. I plan to take a private taxi and tour the whole island... very windy in the afternoons.
