We had a wonderful stay at The Houghton Hotel during our trip to South Africa. The hotel is incredibly modern and stylish, with very spacious rooms. The bed was exceptionally comfortable—exactly what we needed after a long flight. One of the highlights was the breakfast, very tasty and lots of options. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay, and we were especially grateful that they accommodated a very early check-in so we could rest right away. Although we didn’t get a chance to use the hotel’s amenities, we did take a look around and everything—from the pool area to the wellness facilities—looked top-notch and beautifully maintained. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, upscale base in Johannesburg.

Excellent accommodation which was spotlessly clean with everything required supplied. Great restaurant with knowledgeable and friendly staff serving lovely food. True hospitality from friendly staff.

Surrounded by the Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve, Thaba Eco Hotel and Spa features elegant suites. It offers a swimming pool, a spa, and function and conference facilities. The place was peaceful, safe and full of greenery.

We had a lovely stay here and wish we could stay longer. The room was very nice and equipped with everything what we needed. The property has a lot to offer (pool, gym, etc.) and it is located within a safe area. The lady we met at the check-in was helpful and really kind. We'll definitely come back for more days if we around Joburg again.

The guest was very nice and friendly. I came with my baby and they made sure we felt at home. The workers were kind and helpful, they responded to my needs will so much professionalism. Beautiful hotel very close to the airport, with free shuttle. The place is in a very quiet a nice location right in front of the lake. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the common areas are very nice, with views of the beautiful garden to one side and the lake on the other side. Breakfast is also nice and staff super friendly.

I absolutely loved my stay there, from the friendly and attentive staff, to the clean and comfortable room and lovely spa. Short stay but so worth it!
