Other hotels and motels are all set right by the road. The East Rock inn is set at the end of the long driveway in a much quieter, green area with a nice lawn with chairs to relax. The check-in process is super easy. I find it very relaxing not having to deal with staff. The code to your door also gives you access to a common room with some amenities. The room was modern, clean, spacious, and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the room had all the amenities that you needed like fridge, safe and kettle.

The location was very close to the beaches and to town. Vibe was very relax and decor was great. Loved having breakfast outside the clubhouse and seeing the ocean. We live in Bermuda and went to Cape Cod for my son to attend camp. We needed the hotel to be a home away from home and that is exactly what they delivered on. The facilities were great, breakfast was amazing, rooms were nice size, laundry facilities we easy and accessible. Even through we initially booked this hotel by mistake. It worked out to be exactly what we wanted and needed. A home away from home. Staff were friendly, accommodating and efficient. The hotel seemed like a very well run machine.

So far this has been the best accommodation we have stayed in. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were attentive and friendly. We particularly enjoyed spending time at the hotel bar and casual conversation with Gregg. He made us feel very welcome. We stayed at The Barn for breakfast and dinner and had a fabulous meal every time. We would love to stay again in the future.
