The hotel was clean and looked new. The staff there was very helpful and accommodating. The room was spacious for three people. The location was good if you like to shop for high tech products as there are two digital malls and several small shops across the street. Sogo is about 20 min walk. Transportation was convenient with a subway station right next to the hotel. The taxi fare was very reasonable and it cost 200 NTD to go to Ximending. Overall the stay was amazing and we will definitely stay here again.

Set in the hippest east area of Taipei, Star Hostel Taipei East has transformed from an old residential house to modern Eco-friendly accommodation hosting travellers worldwide. The hostel was just great. Great location in a nice neighborhood. Staff was super friendly and could speak English very well. We cooked in the kitchen and used the laundry room, everything was super clean and well equipped. The room was big enough for us and we slept very well there.

We were met on the first floor with a porter that helped us take our luggage’s up to the check-in desk on the 4th floor. Check in was easy, the front desk person was able to communicate with us in English well. Our room was large, clean, comfortable, and had water bottles ready for us.

Staff were really friendly, answered any questions I had, and always offered to help in any way possible, even without asking. Some of the nicest hotel staff I’ve met!! Room was comfortable and clean. No faults!! Hotel is also in a great location, next to convenience stores, a metro station, and only 10 minutes from TSA airport. But no noise disruption whatsoever!!

San Want Residences Taipei is a luxurious hotel located along Nanjing East Road, a 10-minute walk from Zhongshan MRT. Very comfortable stay. The place is clean and the service is very good. They treat all people the same regardless of race. I would definitely stay again.
