The property is clean and beautiful. We also like the private outdoor hot spring! Staff is really nice and friendly.

Yufuin-Sanso Waremokou offers large Japanese-style rooms boasting an open-air cypress hot spring bath, sweeping nature and city views and a massage chair. It was a wonderful experience way above my expectations, room was clean, spacious and comfortable (i wish i have home like this :D). View from the room was amazing, straight on Yufu mountain relaxing and breathtaking especially when taking morning bath in open air private onsen in the room (there were 3 onsens in room). Dinner and breakfast were very exquisite, it was real ryokan experience for me in a very luxurious environment . Staff was very kind and helpful, it makes you feel like you don't want to leave.

Yawaragi-no-Sato Yadoya features 6 hot spring baths, a Japanese restaurant and universal design, only a 2-minute walk from the picturesque Yu-no-Tsubo Kaido (Yu-no-Tsubo Road). Didn't take the meals but the ryokan is very close to the main shopping street. Easy to find food. Pleasantly surprised that the ryokan is very well kept, clean and bright. Staff are friendly and speak good english. Ryokan provided advice on how to drive there too.

The hotel is located in the upper part of Beppu. This part is the more quiet one, and older part of the town. (what we absolutely loved). The hells of Beppu are just around the corner, and about a million different public Onsen baths. We absolutely loved our stay. Parking is possible at the hotel for 500Yen/day. The staff were absolutely amzing and lovely. They speak reasonably good English, also all the signs are in different languages. Thank you! The public Onsen in the hotel is amazing and super nice and clean, there is an outdoor and an indoor area.

The owner, who is very friendly, as is all staff actually. In the middle of the charming old town of Hita, a relatively unknown gem. Make sure to book dinner, which is served in an adjacent restaurant, which belongs to the hotel. Amazing standard of cooking, Japanese with some international influences. The breakfast, served in the hotel, is Japanese and excellent as well. Our room had a private bath and shower. On top of that, there are two Onsen in the hotel as well, who can be reserved for private use by the hotel guests. Free parking right in front of the hotel.
