The room was an excellent size, tastefully furnished and the bed was the most comfortable of the whole trip. Being on top of a shopping mall was a bonus! Also I love the train station proximity. We caught the trams to the castle and city centre, which was easy.

Located in the heart of the city, Hotel Nikko Kumamoto features accommodations with free wired internet access and views of Kumamoto Castle. Extremely well sound-proofed and the beds were amazing. Bus and tram right in front of the hotel.

Not a single moment of discomfort and all our needs were immediately attended to from food, beverages, taxi booking, room service.

We loved everything about our stay! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and spacious enough for our family of 5. The tub on the porch was amazing. Grilling out on our front porch was very fun and the heaters made it nice and warm even in winter. We enjoyed morning yoga, fire pit s'mores and the free drinks and mocktails from the garden kitchen. There is an incredible park within walking distance. So much fun!
