Nestled in the tranquil Hida Mountains, Miyama Ouan Kyoritsu Resort offers traditional accommodation featuring hot spring baths and nature views. This was my third stay now and it keeps impressing me. Tranquil building, polite staff, excellent food and extras like drinks and snacks during the day. It is very relaxing and quiet inside and you can soak in the outside and inside bath as much as you want (private and public). Thank you again for the spontaneous pick up from the bus station when it started pouring. Can recommend at least 2 nights including dinner and breakfast and take your time to get out of the busy cities.

Up to that point we had stayed in regular hotels near train stations at big cities so arriving at Guest house Hinode really made our time in Takayama very different in a good way. It’s nothing fancy, but a lovely Japanese home. We had rented a car so location was ok with us, but if you are on public transport it’s about 15mins walk to town. Free parking which was great too!! Beds super comfortable, washing machine 👍 Recommend: do not miss the morning market @Takayama ! 🧡

Gero Station se nachází 1,1 km daleko a Takajama vlakové nádraží 48 km. • Room : was VERY wide, long entrance, 2 toilets, a wide room with a dining table, TV and massage chair (also did not use both), small kitchen with drinks in fridge, one large tatami room, spacious bedroom with two double beds. You also have triple mirrors in multiple places and almost all the windows have insect net, window and wooden covers. • Onsen : Two private onsen baths large enough to fit at least 2, maybe 3 people. The temperature is perfect! (Very warm but not to the point where you feel like burning when you get in. The onsen inside is next to the shower, and rhe one outside has a very nice view on the town and the mountains. • Food : Dinner was Kaiseki (traditionnal japanese way of serving the food in courses in the room) and lasted about two hours with many different things ; seafood, meat, vegetables, soup, etc. If you're vegetarian or dislike seafood (there's quite a lot), I'd say fhere's still enough of other things to surely fill your stomach. For breakfast, see the picture (includes everything). • Service : Amazing, very polite and help you with whatever they can.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special. Our host was absolutely amazing — warm, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making our stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. We traveled with our curious, adventurous 23 month old daughter. The home itself is stunning. Immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could have needed (and more!). Such as espresso maker, filtered water, comfy clean towels. Every corner of the house reflects the host’s attention to detail and pride of ownership. Live Takayama is the definition of japanese hospitality. We were welcomed with a few personal touches that made us feel right at home — a handwritten chalkboard sign, super friendly dog - Coco, and helpful tips for things to do in the area. It’s rare to come across a space that feels both luxurious and homey, but this place struck the perfect balance. Location was perfect as well — quiet, safe, and just minutes from everything we wanted to see and do. We left feeling relaxed, recharged, and already planning our return. 2024 Renovation house hanasaki nabízí ubytování v centru města Takajama. Hida Minzoku Mura skanzen se nachází 3,3 km odtud a Gero Station 49 km. The owner was super responsive. I have absolutely zero complaints about the accommodation. Spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable. The location was perfect for walks into the old town, Miyagawa morning market, Takayama Jinya etc. The owner also operates a coin laundry just next door. With state of the art washing machines, it was super convenient.

This was such a wonderful stay - the highlight of our trip to Japan. The beds are so comfortable, the place is spacious (by Japan standards), the kitchen was well equipped and it’s in a super convenient location. We were a family of 4 and had plenty of space. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it!

Corpo Tenma Guesthouse Pegasus - Vacation STAY 55414v se nachází v centru města Takajama. Hida Minzoku Mura skanzen se nachází jen 2 km daleko a Gero Station 48 km. The free parking is truly appreciated. Furthermore, the entire property was very cozy. Had everything you would want. A fully equipped kitchen, a TV with Netflix and YouTube, and the heaters were very good so it never got cold even during the peak of winter.

Our stay was so great! The host sent the check-in information ahead of time, with all the information needed to find the accommodation. The apartment was nice, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The host had really thought about travelers needs and there was a lot of information in many languages. The location was within walking distance from many things and there was free parking if coming by car. Even though it was close to the train station and a main street, it was a very quiet and relaxing neighborhood. Thank you for a great stay, it was wonderful! We will be back soon :)
