Mount Juliet Estate is set in 500 acres of Irish Countryside. The historic estate is located in Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny and dates back to 1757. From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed and checked in smoothly. When we asked to view another available room, the staff immediately arranged everything without hesitation and kindly accommodated all our wishes, even helping us move our belongings. The rooms themselves are a true work of art – elegant, stylish, and full of character. Dining at the Hound restaurant was an unforgettable experience – the food was so delicious that we kept thinking about it days later. Breakfast, billiards, sauna, cycling, live music, and so many other wonderful activities were already included in the room rate, making our stay even more special. The live music in the evening created an incredible atmosphere, and the estate grounds are simply breathtaking. At check-out, we didn’t have to worry about a thing – our luggage was taken care of, our car was brought to the entrance already loaded with our belongings, and all we had to do was step outside and drive off. The whole experience felt truly luxurious and unforgettable. It was difficult to leave, and we will definitely be back!

Our hosts were very welcoming, informed us on areas to visit. Our dog was made feel welcome. Very quiet rural area.

The rooms are spacious, warm and with all the needed amenities. The host is really friendly and breakfast is great. 15 min walk to the city center and right near the castle.

The 4-star Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel is situated right in the heart of medieval city of Kilkenny. The property is only 2 minute's walk from main street, restaurants, shops and Kilkenny Castle. Loved this town! Wish i could have stayed another night. Loved the vibe, people, music and food

Pembroke Kilkenny is a 4-star boutique hotel located behind Kilkenny Castle. The property offers air-conditioned rooms, dining, drinks, Mint Medispa and corporate facilities. Gorgeous little hotel with really lovely staff. Beauty of it being about 5 minutes from the main street is no noise at night which can be a feature in a lot of Kilkenny hotels. Will definitely return on our next Kilkenny trip.

On the banks of the River Nore in the heart of the medieval city of Kilkenny, this 4-star Kilkenny River Court Hotel offers free WiFi. Velice hezký hotel s velkým pokojem a za dobrou cenu. Hotel je na dobrém a klidném místě, mimo hlavní centrum. Personál byl velice příjemný. Snídaně výborná. Hotel má k dispozici velké parkoviště pro hosty zdarma. Naproti přes silnici je skvělá hospůdka.

The Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny is a luxurious 4-star, family-run establishment nestled within 25 acres of parkland, just a short distance from Kilkenny City. Top notch breakfast, great beds, great spa and weight room. Was thankful to have parking on site, as some places in Ireland are incredibly hard to squeeze into.
