My brothers and I stayed in Purbeck lodge for a couple of evenings for a trip to monkey world and we were blown away by how good the accommodation was. It was clean and functional, while also feeling homely. The facilities were excellent, everyone could have their own bed and bathroom. The sauna was wonderful for relaxing. The balcony meant we could have breakfast in the fresh air - nice and quiet with lovely birdsong. The location is wonderful for just nipping into the picturesque town of Wareham and more than close enough to monkey world for a day out with the primates, with plenty of parking. We have already discussed making it an annual trip and bringing our partners next time because we had such a great stay. Excellent value-for-money, thank you!

Clock House B&B in Marnhull provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. With quiet street views, this accommodation offers a patio. Chris and Mella are wonderful hosts. We spent a week in this accommodation and felt completely at home. Our dog was also welcome and made friends with Crumble, the house puppy. The breakfast was exceptional, suggestions from the guests were implemented spontaneously and we enjoyed having breakfast together with the other guests at a large table. Thank you Chris, thank you Mella, we really enjoyed our time with you and will be happy to come back.

Set in Milton Abbas, within 16 km of Monkey World and 31 km of Corfe Castle, Woodland Views offers accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive. I loved staying at Woodland Views. Aliya is a delightful host and very welcoming. My bedroom was spacious and comfortable and it was great to have places to sit other than the bed. I particularly enjoyed the patio area which, as the property's name suggests, has views of the adjacent woodland; there is a short and picturesque walk through here to Milton Abbas village. The breakfast is prepared to order and I particularly enjoyed the variety of fresh fruit. It's in a very quiet location but ideally situated for getting around this part of Dorset. I definitely hope to return.

La Fleur De Lys, a property with a garden and a bar, is situated in Shaftesbury, 28 km from Longleat Safari Park, 29 km from Longleat House, as well as 33 km from Salisbury Train Station. Very warm welcome. Extremely comfortable room. Quiet location just off the centre and only minutes walk away. Breakfast was very nice.

In 4 acres of beautiful gardens, Summer Lodge features luxurious rooms, a leisure centre and an award-winning restaurant. With free parking and free Wi-Fi, the hotel is 15 minutes from Yeovil. We loved the beautiful greenery , the spa massages and the spa itself and the staff were very friendly everywhere we went :)
