I have so much to say about Paris. I love it.
I have so much to say about Paris. I love it. It is the most beautiful city, with very nice, well mannered and helpful people. The museums are incredible, sightseeing is non-exhaustive, lovely shops, very good public transport system.
Our favourite restaurant till now are: Au Pied de Cochon, Le Minet Galant, Brasserie du Louvre - Bocuse. Our favourite places: the Louvre, the Eiffel tower, the Orsey, the Picasso museum, place Concorde, Champs Elysee and so much more...
It is very easy to get around Paris, on foot, via public transport and with the ferry rides!

We visited 5 different exhibitions our favourite was the virtual reality exhibition at Notre Dame an incredible experience
Even with timed entrance tickets be prepared for lengthy waits and queues for other exhibitions at Musee d’Orsay. Also be prepared for the volume of people once you gain entrance
Unlike London many Metro stations do not have escalators but many steps!
Splendid view of Paris and meal on the rooftop terracej at Galleries Lafayette well worth a visit

Hotel Châtelet.
Hotel Châtelet. The booking through Booking.com didn’t provide me with any information or choice of room. Hence my room was very small. It was described as a double room but there wouldn’t have been room for 2 people’s luggage. The bed was a double, fine for 1 person but would have been extremely uncomfortable for a couple. But I will stay there again as I really like the location and helpful staff. BTW the bath linen was great: thick fluffy towels ; unlike the meagre thin ones I have in my current location. The two restaurants in the photos are excellent. One very close to hotel, adjoining street, one in Rue Montmartre; la Robe et le Palais, la Comptoire de la Gastronome

Paris is gorgeous with many interesting neighborhoods each with their own vibe. It is also huge and bustling and very confusing at times as most streets run on a diagonal making getting lost a lot pretty much part of your day. I have realized unless I am keeping an appointment it's best to just explore the area you've find yourself lost in! for sure you will find things that catch your eye. If you love museums Paris has dozens. My favorites are Quai Brainley near the Eiffel Tower.which is dedicated to cultures of Africa,Oceania and Latin America and seldom has long entrance lines. Carnavalet in the Marais area concerns Paris history, is free and the exhibits fascinating many period rooms on display. I prefer D'Orsay to the LOUVRE it's more bitesized but often long lines. don't miss the mini version of the Opera House. musee f arts decoratif also great if you are interested in fashion and decor. learn how to ride the metro and buses and explore.
The hotel is in a quiet street but close to everything in Paris, lovely shops nearby and places to eat. The rooms are small but beautifully furnished with shuttered windows opening onto the courtyard. The bathroom had been newly renovated.
The breakfast was a little underwhelming given the croissants and pastries are below par for - not just France - but anywhere! it would have been nicer to be able to sit outside for breakfast given the beautiful warm days in September.
The staff are all lovely and very friendly.
Hotel was beautifully presented and in such a good location. Montmarte is definitely the place to stay in Paris. The staff were really friendly and the rooms were such good value for money compared to other hotels in Paris. Really good bars, restaurants and cafes as soon as you walk out of the hotel. We managed to walk to most of the attractions but the metro is the best and cheapest way once you get sick of walking. Will definitely be coming back here on our next visit to Paris!
We only had the breakfast on the last day, but it was a great selection, especially for the price! The decor of the rooms was also lovely - not bland chain or too weird or cheap-looking, just nice boutique hotel. Location was very useful for catching the Metro around Paris and when we arrived at Gare du Nord it was a very short walk from the station. We requested two rooms next to each other as we travelled with kids and they were able to do that no problem.
The location was good. It's close to two train stations - one is great to travel from the airport to Paris and is located around 16min from the hotel, another one is great to travel to different cities in France (located around 7min from the hotel). It's only 30 minutes walk to the Louvre, Notre Dame de Paris, Sacré Cœur, and other beautiful sightseeing places in Paris.
The staff at the reception is kind and welcoming.
I appreciated the kettle in the room.
Great hotel to stay in the middle of Paris. metro is near and only mins to the Louvre and Eiffel tower! restaurants and popular shopping stores just walking in distance in under a minute! My room was amazing. the bed was soft and had complimentary champagne and was upgraded to the balcony street view. the staff were attentive and very kind. Made my first trip to France phenomenal.
An expensive hotel in an excellent location. The hotel is clean, well-equipped, with relatively small rooms. Magnificent breakfast and served in an excellent way. English speaking staff (which is not common in France). The location near the train station was just right for our needs. Excellent and helpful staff. Really tries to serve and answer every question
We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room, which was large compared to many hotels in France. The room was lovely and we had a wonderful view of Notre Dame. In addition, the staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful and outgoing. Dino and Jess, in particular. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We will definitely be back!
The location. It’s just 8 min walk to Gare Montparnasse. Very convenient if you’re traveling by train within France. Metro station Gaite is just outside the hotel. So many restaurants nearby. Monoprix supermarket is less than 10 min walk away. Also, hotel breakfast is good. Room is tidy with Nespresso coffee machine.
I just loved L’oasis Montparnasse. The staff is incredibly kind, they speak fluent English so you have no communication problems. The place is really beautiful and clean and compared to other facilities in France is big . I loved it and I am absolute coming back. This hotel exceeded my expectations by far.
Room small but reasonably comfortable. Staff nice and friendly. Lovely little breakfast, although would have liked more healthy options, but I understand that in a small and relatively cheap Paris hotel, it would not be cost effectively possible. Therefore, it was very acceptable.
Its a value for money. One of the cheapest rooms we found. It wasn't huge. Very basic but that is what Paris is all about. It was comfortable. The shower was good. The people in reception were nice and cordial. Lots of bakeries around the hotel. Easy to reach with public transport
We had a nice and quiet room on 4th floor. Staff was available 24h and the location of the hotel is amazing! Public parking is on the same street and cost 16$ per day which is very cheap for Paris. All area seems to be really safe! We can definitely recommend this hotel!
My friends and I stayed here twice once in September once in October, I found the staff very friendly. They helped us find a solution for storing our luggage for over 3 weeks while we were on a bike tour in France. I plan to stay here the next time I visit Paris.
Who knows the usual cheaper paris hotels does not expect much- but this one actually brought what it promised in every respect. Nice, helpful staff, clean basic (but every appliance in good working condition, even the window opening, in the) room, with breakfast.
I recommend this hotel because:
The staff was very friendly, helpful specially Mohammed, he speaks English, France and Arabic very well, he bought us tickets inside Paris. The room was very clean. The location very near to metro station.
So, if you’re finding a nice cheap stay in Paris I recommend this hotel. It’s next to Goncourt station and you’ll get anywhere in the metro from there. Room is bright and looks decently clean. You’ll get what you need for your money.
Basically the only redeeming quality of this place was its location, a convenient 7-minute walk away from the Paris Convention Center where we were attending a conference. The breakfast was also decent for Paris/France standards.
Luxury cosy stay @ reasonable rate, Paris France Hotel tick all the boxes in terms of comfortable level,, cleanliness, location, and best of all happy and helpful team of staff. Thank you for making my stay a memorable one :).
Places was super clean and we felt decently safe! not the location you would think of staying in paris but super close to bus stops, metro, trains ect! Quiet at night and classic france during the day!
this hotel is old and a bit rundown but so much cheaper than anything else in Paris, the staff are super nice and the rooms are cleaned every day. Would stay again.
