Nice cabin, got in late so I did not have to wait to enter my unit. Ate breakfast at the place next door, the food was okay but not great. The cabin on the other hand was really nice, well done, super comfy.

We loved everything. The balcony, the comfortable interior, the location, and the generosity of the hosts who provide everything you need to cook and have a log fire and barbecue. Iy was spacious for 6 people. Cosy and warm. Simply amazing! The best holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in. Just wish we had booked for longer.

The town is some 25-30 minutes from the Rush Creek resort where we stayed.
We only drove through Groveland, it seemed to have a lovely one block downtown with BBs, restaurants, and a few other stores. On the road to Yosemite from San Francisco through Manteca, Groveland is the most picturesque little town.

I had trouble finding Groveland, was late at night. the owner/manager came and found me! Wonderful service.
Had problems finding the correct roads to Groveland, then to Yosemite. I did finally get it all together and thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

Unexpectedly charming town with way more facilities then we had imagined. The local saloon is awesome, so is the grocery store. We didn't really have time to explore the other options (as we were there to visit Yosemite) but there were plenty more interesting eating/drinking options around.

I wanted a more plush room.
I wanted a more plush room. This one is adequate but the pillows were too hard and the bedding too thin for winter. Also the bed itself was not plush.
It’s not the fault of Westgate. I tried to book at another more plush hotel but I was told there were no more rooms. Come to find out there were no more rooms at the price Booking.com got to offer. I’m learning.

Our family of 10 stayed for 2 nights very comfortably, the property has central AC and BBQ ready for family fun, there is a local market nearby where we bought foods for BBQ and cooking, over all we are happy and would recommend anyone that heading to Groveland.
Double queen room was large and comfortable with lots of natural light during daylight hours. Great shower! Expansive wrap around porch right outside the room was delightful. Whole building is thoughtfully designed to be a B&B. It is both charming and highly functional. The Iron Door Saloon in nearby Groveland (2 mi) was great fun for a casual dinner. Breakfast was made to order when we were interested in eating it, rather than at a set time. Thank you, thank you! Hosts were helpful, friendly, and engaging.
Groveland is a lovely little town. Drive to main entrance of Yosemite Vally is 30 minutes AND then another 45 min to get into the valley. In total 1hr 30 min drive each way (longer for other entrances!) If you want to avoid a 3hr round trip drive then this is not for you. Perfect for us as we wanted to explore the area and not just Yosemite National Park.
Inside the challet was well equipped and thought of 👍
The owner was great, very responsive, accommodating, informative and friendly 😃
Great historic hotel close to Yosemite in an authentic small town. The room was super clean, the owner personally greeted us at check-in, the staff were a joy to meet and work with - we felt very welcome and comfortable here during our stay - we explored Yosemite by day and the Hotel Charlotte provided a wonderful base to start and end our days. The food was excellent in the hotel restaurant and the bar service was top tier! Overall a great atmosphere we really appreciated.
This house was amazing. We had a really lovely time exploring the area and relaxing on the veranda of the house. Rooms are a great size with a bathroom for each room. Lounge was lovely and spacious and the veranda area was really comfy and looks out over the lake. The games room was great for kids. There's lots to do near the house and we could easily have stayed longer.
Everything at this place was perfect well equipped kitchen and all facilities. Beds were super comfortable and super clean. After a couple of weeks of travel it was nice to reset here and do some cooking. Nice supermarket in Groveland. GCould
not fault this house and stay. Wish we stayed longer 😊Great gateway to Yosemite although at least one hour drive to the Valley.
We love the location and the room. Please note, the property is outside of the main Yosemite Park and is about 40 min away by car. We didn't mind. The property is quite near the Hetch Hetchy reservoir. Only 1 % of the park visitors make it to the reservoir. We took advantage of the nearness and visited the reservoir one late afternoon.
The formal breakfast was absolutely lovely and delicious in the sunroom. The entire place was kept amazingly well and spotless, which did not go unnoticed. This is the standard that most hotels should be withholding which is unfortunately increasingly difficult to find, which made everything all the more impressive!
Very cute facility! Appreciate the updated rooms and loved that it was right next to the dinner. Made it convenient to get something to eat when there was not much around. We also loved the communal outdoor seating area and little playground as well.
Location good for Yosemite, you can get closer but you pay 3 x the amount. After an initial mix up with our room, a lovely lady came to our rescue and moved us to a suite as they had mucked up the booking. Hotel was clean, good restaurant next door.
Location and proximity to the lake and waterfalls in groveland area.the place is quiet,we saw wild life around the premises. I will definitely come back.the host was quick to respond to my request. Overall we enjoyed our stay except the dog hair.
incredible and nice bungalow hotel in the middle of the nature, one hour apart from Yosemite park entry. we loved it to stay there and enjoy nature and this nice and cosy hotel.
The room and the whole building were ok. The location is good, but not so close to Yosemite. The interesting fact - the oldest saloon in California is near!
