The hotel bares the name of "Hotel & Spa", however, the actual spa service is extra. The hotel does have an outdoor pool which guests could use for free. However, it was impractical in the cold raining winter. The actual spa with the indoor pools, however aren't free. Guests have to pay $49 for a day pass. We was surprised to find out we had to pay extra for the spa pool. In addition, there was a waiting list for the pools and bath house, so, the service was not guaranteed if you are willing to pay. We wish the website would have that information.

I felt it was pretty, but it didn’t really have the choice of restaurants. I felt Napa was definitely the place to stay and they had more restaurants and more places to eat breakfast. Sonoma was a bit small.

Just an hour or so outside San Francisco, Sonoma is a picturesque city set among the vineyards in Northern California. It features a beautiful square with galleries, shops and restaurants. They often feature live music in the square. Great for a long weekend, the vineyards offer tours and tastings. There is also a wonderful cheese shop there. If you enjoy being active, don’t miss the hiking/biking trails in the area.

It is a quiet and over-looked town! MUST SEE! They have a cute downtown Sonoma Plaza, with a Visitor Bureau with free coupons (2 for 1 wine tasting), lots of cute and varied shops and restaurants. There are also a lot of museums and the Sonoma Mission right there. We visited Buena Vista, Gundlach Bundschu, and Jacuzzi wineries--ALL were beautiful! We had a great dining experience at Sonoma Grill and Bar in the back terrace.

Downtown Sonoma is a quaint town with cafes, galleries, a movie theater, and most importantly, two ice cream shops (we chose the Chocolate Cow). We also found a wonderful hike nearby called Sonoma Overlook in the downtown area. About 1.3 miles up for a beautiful view of the city.

The foods we tried were all delicious.
The foods we tried were all delicious. The town square and park were quaint as well as the city itself. I loved the architecture of the homes in the downtown area. The area is very walkable and there were many unique shops.
breakfast room and the added bonus of wine and cheese in the afteroon. A lovely way to meet people. The fact that there was EV charging was an added treat. The location of the hotel is perfect. Your staff is very friendly and helpful as well.
Certainly enough parking provided, all in all we are planning on coming back and looking forward to it.
Our visit to your lovely little town started ar your community hall where two men gave us the tour and welcomed us, so nice!
The room was small but clean and well kept. We had the second floor with no elevator which was okay.
We did not use the spa it was an extra 49 dollars. We did not do breakfast but went to dinner. The menu was a lot of fish dishes which my husband enjoyed. The meal was expensive but delicious. Recommend reservations to eat outside.Pool was great especially on the hot days.
Loved the hotel shuttle to Sonoma square. Taking bike ride today free with hotel.
We took our daughter and her husband to Sonoma for her birthday and the 2 bedroom cottage was perfect for the 4 of us! It was cute and clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect being right down the street from the plaza and several wineries and a hiking trail. Everything we needed was right there and having Sonoma’s Best store right there was perfect too!! We loved our trip and would definitely stay there again.
I loved the charm that came with this place, it was super pretty and relaxing. I enjoyed sitting on the patio by the fountain. The staff was EXCELLENT! It was a little eerie feeling being at the hotel completely alone sometimes but also very peaceful. The shower was updated and was amazing! I love the small town charm of Sonoma, it was super close to all the wineries. Great deli down the street as well!
Perfect place to explore Sonoma and Napa Valley. Nice Mercantile with excellent wine shop. Good and interesting Wine Tasting. Great coffee and food for breakfast or lunch.
The cottage is small but perfect for 2 and the terrace in the front was a perfect relaxing space. We also loved the kitchen where we could cook some good stuff from the local farmer markets.
We spent a very memorable two nights at 'An Inn to Remember'
A lovely room with a comfortable bed and luxurious sheets. We had a delightful deck on which to sit and enjoy drinks in the evening and breakfast in the morning. A perfect location too, as it was only a few steps from the square in central Sonoma. We would definitely recommend this Bed and Breakfast.
Had one night stay here lovely helpful staff and lots of added extras, cooked breakfast, wine and cheese and snacks in the evening. We walked to Sonoma Plaza 15-20 minutes however most people had cars which would have been easier especially if wine touring. Very quiet and spacious lounge and dining area if you wanted to mingle
Was the most elegant hotel we have stayed
I’m on our trip to California. very relaxed atmosphere, fabulous food and menu. room was very comfortable and it was clear the hotel had reinvested in updating the hotel so it wasn’t tired like the other places we stayed in. the location is perfect.
Impeccably clean. Comfortable bed. Good value. Friendly staff. The location is close enough to Sonoma Square - about a mile - that walking is easy, and for us, preferred. We could enjoy the tasting rooms and restaurants without concern for driving or parking.
The location is absolutely perfect for being in downtown Sonoma. With a 2 minute walk you can get to great restaurants, wineries and cultural sites. The bed at the cottage is extremely comfortable. Everything in he cottage is well appointed.
The location of this small hotel is ideal if you want to be close to town. The Sonoma Plaza is a great family friendly area and safe to enjoy day or night. We love the choices of eateries, wineries and more.
Rooms were large, well furnished and very comfortable. Loved having access to the small kitchen in the shared area. Hotel was charming with a country Sonoma flare. Very nice personnel. We'll be back.
Excellent location, next to Sonoma square, restaurants and shops.
Nice private patio with hot tub surrounded by a small beautiful vineyard.
Upgraded bathroom, kitchenette, and bedding.
I loved this hotel, my favorite on my whole trip to San Fran. Beautiful gardens, a nice walk to Sonoma Plaza to some great restaurants. It's a family run hotel since 1959.
The location near Sonoma Plaza and downtown is always great. My room was a large corner suite, a pleasant surprise...and the room was made up quickly when I requested it.
